Dr Miguel Johnson M.B.,B.S (UWI), MRCSEd (Edinburgh), DM (Plast)

Dr. Miguel Johnson is a proud graduate of the University of the West Indies where he completed his medical training and attained the M.B., B.S degree. He has subsequently undergone extensive training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery both locally and internationally. This involved spending an intense period of 2 years at several institutions in London and the United Kingdom; Including at The McIndoe Centre, Queen Victoria Hospital; A world renown burn, breast and reconstructive surgery centre. He later returned to complete his Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Plastic Surgery in Jamaica and is currently a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

He is an avid member of several international societies including the British Association of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (BAPRAS), The British Association of Aesthetics Plastic Surgeon (BAAPS),  as well as the America Association of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), among others. He has contributed positively to the growth of his field including being an author of several peer- reviewed journal publications and now serves as a reviewer for several of these prestigious journals. His interest includes performing a wide range of cosmetic procedures, such as facial rejuvenation, Breast augmentation and reduction, Mastopexy, Liposuction, body contouring surgery and reconstructive surgery such as Otoplasty, Congenital Correction, Cleft palate and lip repair, burn, scar revision and reconstruction, keloid removal and treatment. Miguel is also an expert on wound management  where he utilizes  several tools such as skin graft and flap coverage. He enjoys educating others and has presented at several local and international conferences and is well respected by his local and international colleagues.
